He loves following his foster dad from room to room, "helping" with work in the home office and politely suggesting when it's time for a coffee break or a quick stretch. At home, Juice is the ultimate couch companion. After a short walk or potty break, he's happiest curled up next to his person, relaxing and watching TV. He is house trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. Rain isn't his favorite, so he may need a little encouragement when the weather isn't cooperating. Juice is a wonderful travel buddy and rides beautifully in the car. He's already proven himself an excellent co-pilot on longer trips, happily alternating between snoozing in the front seat and relaxing in his crate. He navigates stairs well, walks nicely on leash, and has a calm, easygoing, "potato-like" energy. He also shows no tendency to bolt and has demonstrated good recall. Socially, Juice has done well meeting other dogs and has enjoyed some playtime with new friends. He's even met horses without concern, showing that he can coexist politely with other animals when introduced properly. Juice is currently under veterinary care for significant skin issues and a possible diagnosis of Cushing's disease. Since starting a new diet and treatment plan, his inflammation has already improved, and his foster family is encouraged to see signs of new hair growth. His diagnosis is still being evaluated.
