Socks is a 4‐year‐old Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix weighing about 16 pounds, and she's ready to find a loving home where she can feel safe and appreciated. She can be a little shy at first--both with new people and with other dogs--but she warms up quickly once she realizes she's in good hands. Underneath that initial hesitation is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved. Our veterinary team noted no health concerns during her intake exam, and her adoption fee is $400. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age‐appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
