About Bon Bon
Bon Bon is sweeter than dessert and ready for a forever home. At about four years old, this Boxer and terrier mix has left her puppy habits behind and settled into a calm, easygoing demeanor. She’s gentle with other dogs and takes things in stride, whether it’s city noises, new people, or even children and puppies. Bon Bon’s foster home says she’s a true cuddler and a total lap dog, happiest when she can settle in with her humans or gently interact with canine companions—especially those who appreciate her mellow temperament. She’s been calm on walks, even in busy DC, and although she’s a strong puller at first, she adapts quickly to a good harness. Bon Bon appears to be house and crate trained, appreciates routine, and values all the little comforts of home. Bon Bon’s heartworm treatment is covered; she just needs to be kept calm for a few weeks while she completes everything. She doesn’t bark much, making her a great fit for apartment living or quieter homes. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate friend who thrives on structure and snuggles, Bon Bon is waiting to meet you. Bon Bon is currently with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in Washington, DC.
