About Jordon
Jordon is a 50-pound bundle of affection looking for a place to call home. He's an adult Boxer/mixed-breed with a soft spot for playtime, yard zoomies, and absolutely anything that involves physical contact. He can’t get enough snuggles and—if it were up to him—you’d carry all 50 pounds of him everywhere. His clumsy energy is just part of his appeal, and underneath the goofiness is a seriously big-hearted dog. He thrives around other dogs and is always eager to make new friends, canine or human. Jordon grew up in a lively, dog-filled home, so he’s used to roughhousing, play bows, and all sorts of puppy shenanigans. That said, he sometimes forgets his own strength and comes on a bit strong, so a household with bigger kids and tolerant dogs suits him best. Despite a bit of hesitation at first with new people, he warms up fast and soon wants nothing more than a good cuddle or play session on the couch. Jordon does have some separation anxiety, especially when he knows his favorite people are nearby but he can’t reach them. He handles alone time better when given a crate and a tasty bully stick or filled Kong. Someone with patience to work through his anxiety will see him flourish even more. On the plus side, he gets along well with both dogs and cats. Jordon is ready for that person who wants a true buddy by their side, through play and long naps alike. Ready to fall in love?
