About Mrs. Thumbs & Weebles

Mrs. Thumbs is a beautiful female Tuxedo kitty who was brought to the HSOV on August 11, 2025 along with her two 3-month old kittens (Weebles and Wobbles). A Good Samaritan had found this little family in the Little Hocking Ohio area where momma Mrs. Thumbs was taking care of her two babies and fending for themselves. Mrs. Thumbs has a gray-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and a lovely symmetrically-marked face with large golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. This little momma has a friendly, rather demure, personality. She was understandably very shy when she found herself in an unfamiliar place with so many other cats nearby but was soon responding to the attention and kindness from our compassionate HSOV kennel techs. Mrs. Thumbs weighed 7 lbs on August 11, 2025. She was given vaccinations, wormer and flea treatment on September 8, 2025. Mrs. Thumbs was given booster vaccines on September 25, 2025. Mrs. Thumbs was spayed on October 3, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 6 lbs that day. Kitten Weebles has a gray short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long gray whiskers. Weebles weighed 4 lbs on August 11, 2025. He was given vaccinations, wormer and flea treatment on September 8, 2025. Weebles was given booster vaccines on September 25, 2025. Weebles was neutered on October 3, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 5 lbs that day. Mrs. Thumbs and Weebles are currently sharing a large cat tower in the lobby/hallway of our shelter and are a very bonded pair. They are usually snuggled up together as close as possible and dearly love each other. This awesome mother and son provide security/comfort for each other, so we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together. Note: Mrs. Thumbs' female kitten (Wobbles) went home with one of our compassionate kennel techs on August 11, 2025 since Wobbles is most likely a CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) kitty (a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. This is a disorder found in cats (and dogs) which causes jerky movements, tremors and generally walking and balance problems. It is a non-progressive and non-contagious condition. Symptoms appear at birth although they may not be noticed until the kitten starts walking. There is a happy update for Wobbles since she has found a loving home with our HSOV kennel techs. Wobbles was spayed on February 13 2026 and was officially adopted by her foster mother on February 19, 2026. Since Mrs. Thumbs & Weebles have been spayed/neutered, they could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
