Lute is a cute 7-week old female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on March 20, 2026 along with her six siblings (Angel Dust, Charlie, Cherri Bomb, Husk, Nifty, and Sir Pentious. This little dollbaby has a brown tabby shorthaired coat with brown spotting on her belly, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on her muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Lute was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 27, 2026. She was given booster vaccines on April 6, 2026. Lute weighed 1.4 lbs when she entered our shelter on March 20th. These photos of Lute were taken on April 10th when HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Madison Lee accompanied Lute in our 'studio' for her glamour pictures. Lute has a super sweet, affectionate personality. Lute's 'claim to fame' during her photo session was her ability to stand upright in many of her photos while she batted a feathery teaser toy around with her cute little paws (thanks to her accomplice/partner-in-crime Madison) (smile). Lute will be spayed (tentatively in May 2026) and will soon be ready to find a loving home of her very own. Naturally we'd love for Lute to be adopted with one of her siblings.
