Husk is an adorable 7-week old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on March 20, 2026 along with his six siblings (Angel Dust, Charlie, Cherri Bomb, Lute, Nifty, and Sir Pentious. This handsome little man has a brown/black shorthaired coat in a stunning marbled tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and the cutest kitten face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Husk was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 27, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on April 6, 2026. Husk weighed 2.2 lbs when he entered our shelter on March 20th. These pictures of Husk were taken on April 10th when HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Madison Lee accompanied him in our 'studio' for his photo session so that he could make his Petfinder/Facebook debut. Husk has a lovable disposition and a playful personality. Husk was a joy to photograph while he scampered around our studio and displayed his prowess around 'big bird' who happened to be dozing in the wicker basket .. Husk was a little uncertain about that huge bird and was just a teeny bit intimidated (smile). Husk will be neutered (tentatively in May 2026) and will soon be ready to find a home of his very own. Naturally we'd love for him to be adopted with one of his siblings.
