Reagan is a 51lb, black and white senior girl who’s still all about "go, go, go!" Energetic and engaging, she loves being out and about with her people, and going for walks. She may add a little extra pep to your pace by pulling on leash at times, but she’s delighted to be out exploring the world by your side. In the yard, Reagan shines during fetch. She’ll happily chase the ball, bring it back, and drop it so you can throw it again. When she gets excited, she can get a bit bouncy, but she responds well when guided and redirected. Reagan is very food motivated and would thrive in a home with adults and older children who can respect her space while she enjoys her meals and long-lasting treats. She is an active, social dog who will benefit from continued training and structured outlets for her energy! Reagan came to shelter with another dog she used to live with, Rocky Road. While Reagan and Rocky Road are not a bonded pair, they are very friendly! Because of this, if an adopter wishes to adopt both, the shelter will only charge one adoption fee. If you have another dog at home and are interested in adopting Reagan (and maybe Rocky Road too), we recommend bringing your canine companion to the shelter to meet Reagan and see if it is a good fit! Reagan is as smart as she is fun. She reportedly has excellent house-training manners, knows how to use a crate in the home, and can be redirected from counter-curiosity with a simple verbal cue. This spirited senior is playful, affectionate, and nearly always on the move, and she’s ready to be the lively, loving companion in her new family’s everyday adventures! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested?
