This beautiful 5-year-old mixed breed is full of life, love, and a joyful, playful spirit. Suzie gives everything she has to playtime, to cuddles, and to the people she loves. She’s the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, and your biggest fan. Suzie currently lives with both large and small dogs and is house trained and leash trained. She would thrive in a house where she is the single alfa. She would also do good in a single dog home. Although Suzie is mid aged, she still is learning some basic manners. For example, she loves to sit in the kitchen and beg for food. She will need a patient family that understands she doesn't realize her size nor strength at times. She would thrive off a consistent, structured household. In her foster home, she eats in her kennel, as having boundaries work best for Suzie. She is kennel trained, but is able to roam the house without destroying the house. She thrives with confident canine companions who can keep up with her fun, rough-and-tumble play style. Because of her zest for life, she’d do best with older kids who can match her energy. At mealtime, Suzie happily eats in her kennel, a space she considers her safe haven, especially during thunderstorms (those are her least favorite). She’s affectionate, loyal to her core, a little goofy, and obsessed with toys. Once Suzie chooses you as her person, she loves with her whole heart.
