Sixx was adopted as a puppy but returned after a year and a half when his prior family struggled with his anxiety. Back in rescue, he's really come into his own. Sixx is a 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix—large framed with bicolor markings and a bright, playful energy. He's happiest with a confident, playful dog in the home; he looks to other dogs for security and is far more relaxed when he has a canine companion. This guy is fully housetrained, uses a doggy door easily, and is so well-mannered he doesn't need to be kenneled. Treats are a huge motivator for him, so training sessions are fun and productive. Sixx shows no food, treat, or toy aggression. He loves daily walks and is especially happy when water is involved. Sixx forms strong attachments to his people—he enjoys following you from room to room, snuggling up, and sharing the bed or couch.
