About June
June came to the rescue as a bottle baby after her mom, a larger black dog, fell ill caring for just two pups. Born March 2, she’s already solid—likely to top out between 50 and 80 pounds—and is starting to show a mix of striking coat colors. June is half Malinois and, according to DNA, mixed with a little bit of everything else. She’s the kind that really tunes into humans and animals around her. Raised with both toddlers and other pets, she grew up socialized: friendly with dogs, cats, and young kids. Since her brother found a home, June has settled into new foster care, picked up crate training, and is learning to walk on leash. She’s still all puppy: loves affection, smart, needs boundaries and lots of structure. Given her Malinois background, June needs an active adopter who has previous German Shepherd or Malinois experience—someone ready for long walks, clear rules, and the time investment to shape her into a good adult dog. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate shots, and will need the rest of her puppy vaccines as she grows. Training is required with adoption—a signed contract and a class. The rescue provides all medical records and a starter kit. Adoptions happen in Stanwood, WA, and you have to meet in person. June’s ready for someone who’s prepared for the commitment and will love her quirks. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
