This 9-week-old German Shepherd mix is a happy puppy who is easy to please. At 15 lbs, Shira loves playing with her siblings, but she's just as happy soaking up attention and affection from her people. Shira is very bright and is ready to join a loving family. She's currently learning puppy basics like potty training and is used to using puppy pads. She's never been in a crate but has done wonderfully in gated puppy spaces. Shira does well with children and with other dogs, but will need slow introductions with other dogs. After slow introductions are established, she will thrive when making friends. She currently lives with cats in her foster home and is mostly uninterested. She loves toys of all kinds, including ropes, stuffies, and puppy chews. As a German Shepherd mix, Shira will grow into an intelligent and active dog who will thrive with regular exercise and mental stimulation.
