About Odie

Meet Odie! Odie is an 18-month-old male Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix weighing approximately 63lbs who is looking for his forever home after being surrendered when his previous family could no longer care for him. Odie is a sweet, lovable boy with a big personality to match his size. He has done well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great candidate for many types of homes. Like any young dog, he is still learning his manners and will benefit from continued training—especially with basics like “sit” and not jumping when excited. He would thrive with a family that has the time and patience to help him grow into a well-mannered companion. If you're looking for a big, fluffy goofball to bring joy and energy into your home, Odie may be the perfect match! His adoption fee is $125, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, annual boosters, and heartworm test. Important Medical Appointment: Odie is scheduled for his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, and heartworm test on Wednesday, 4/22/26. This appointment is part of the adoption process and must be accommodated. If you're interested in making Odie part of your family, please submit an adoption application here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Approved applicants will be contacted by RAC staff to schedule a meet and greet. Odie can't wait to meet his forever family! All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks.
