Meet Frodo Baggins From the "Lord of the Rings Litter," Frodo Baggins is a 9-week-old fluffy, sable-coated sweetheart with big paws, a big heart, and an even bigger future ahead of him. Much like his namesake Frodo Baggins, this little guy may be small for his kind right now, but he's already showing the courage, curiosity, and gentle spirit that make for an unforgettable companion. Frodo is up for anything-playtime, exploration, or snuggling up after a long day of puppy adventures. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has a friendly, social nature that helps him fit right in with canine companions. He hasn't met cats yet, but with slow and proper introductions, we believe he could adjust well. He has done well with teenagers and adults so far and may do well with children given appropriate introductions and supervision. With a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix dad and a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix auntie mom, Frodo is expected to grow into a large, sturdy dog-likely around 65-85 pounds when fully grown. He has a thick double coat and a beautiful sable coloring that makes him especially eye-catching, along with those big "growing into them" paws that hint at his future size. Frodo is still learning the basics of indoor life after being raised mostly outdoors, so he will need a patient family to help him continue building confidence, manners, and all the skills of being a well-loved house dog. While his name belongs to the humble hobbit who embarked on one of the greatest journeys of all time, this Frodo's quest is much simpler-but just as meaningful: finding a loving home to call his own. And instead of Mount Doom, his greatest destination will be your couch.
