About Sir Winston

Sir Winston is an energetic terrier mix bursting with personality and looking for a fresh start in Fresno, CA. Just over a year old and about 30–35 lbs, he’s at that perfect stage where play and curiosity drive his day. He’s happiest when there’s water to splash in—his coat is kept trim to help him make the most of kiddie pools without the headache of constant tangles. Winston picks up basic commands quickly—he knows how to sit and walk on a leash, but with as much excitement as he brings, he could use a bit more leash work. His cheerful attention-seeking tendencies make him a hit with volunteers, and he never says no to a round of fetch or a new toy. Winston enjoys the company of other medium-to-large dogs, but he’s not quite sure of his own strength yet, so smaller children may not be ideal companions for now. He’d thrive in a home with adults or older kids who appreciate a busy, interactive dog, and he’ll give just as much affection as he gets.
