About Baby Maggie May
Meet Baby Maggie May, a sweet 4-month-old Terrier mix who’s looking for a loving home. She came to us with her siblings, Melody, Myrna Myrissa, and Merrit, from a difficult hoarding situation. While Maggie May has an adorable face, she's a little shy and cautious in new environments, still learning that people can be kind and that the world is not so scary. Maggie May doesn’t show aggression but needs a patient family who understands trust is built gradually. She won't come running when called just yet; rather, she’ll need someone who can meet her where she is and encourage her at her own pace. While we believe she would thrive in a home with children aged 12 and up, she deserves a nurturing environment where she can blossom. With gentle encouragement and positive experiences, Maggie May can build her confidence and transform into a loving companion. If you have a gentle heart and an understanding of shy puppies, she could become an incredibly rewarding friend. There’s a wonderful dog in there waiting to shine. Currently, Animal Rescue of Fresno does not do out-of-state adoptions. If you feel you might be the right match for Maggie May, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s give her the brighter future she deserves!
