About Lothar

🐾 Meet Lothar! 🐾 Lothar is a 2-year-old bundle of cuteness officially on the adoption scene! Lothar arrived to Ten Lives nervous and shy, working through trust issues and unsure of what to come. We've promised him nothing but love and lots of playtime, and he has been getting more confident by the day. Once he settles in, Lothar enjoys being pet and likes to play. He may spend some time in a cat tunnel or somewhere else that he feels safe in, but will gradually, but slowly, start to come out to explore. He would do best with someone that is patient and understanding that he might take time to build trust and warm up to them. Lothar loves to eat, it's probably his favorite past time, so he can be won over with treats, especially squeeze treats. He gets along with other cats and would benefit from having a friendly feline companion to continue to show him the ropes. If you think you could be Lothar's match, please fill out an application today! ___________________________ Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/ Please Note: If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
