He loves being in the same room as his people and enjoys receiving pets and is a big fan of playtime, especially if there are tunnels involved, and he takes his meals very seriously. Most of all, Bumblebean likes being the 'King of the Castle' where he can get all the love and cardboard scratchers to himself. Bumblebean is a 'companion' cat through and through! He is good-natured and genuinely enjoys having people around, often following the action or hanging out in the same room to see what you're up to. While he's a bit 'too cool' for constant cuddling or being held, he actively seeks out pets and attention on his own terms. The perfect match for Bumblebean is a home that embraces his hilarious, quirky personality. He is looking for a home with no other kitties so he can keep your love all to himself! About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
