Coco came into rescue in a sad way- his owner passed away and he was posted on Facebook for free along with four of his "siblings". Our rescue partners knew we needed to save them, and so they will soon be coming to Maine. Coco is estimated to be about 7 years old and a Dachshund mix. He's a small guy at around 10 lbs. He is more comfortable with women then men, but does warm up, he just needs some time. Due to his small stature and timid nature, we recommend he go to a home with older or no kids. He's a little shut down in rescue but we know that he will come out of his shell and make a great companion once he's in a loving home. He's currently in AL but we hope to bring him to Maine in mid-May.
