Hi, my name is Fable. I'm a one-year-old, long-haired, male white cat who was adopted, but returned to Purring Hearts rescue after I survived FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a very serious disease. I have been symptom-free for months, but I permanently lost the ability to control my bowels and bladder. As a result, I wear kitty diapers - the best fashion accessory. Not only am I the handsomest man in the world, with my long white fur, blue eyes, and funny little black/gray cap, but I have the personality to match! My disability hasn't changed my kind, curious soul one bit! I am cuddly, chatty, and love playing with humans and other cats alike. I'm so playful, in fact, that I'll need a friendly feline buddy wherever I go. My ideal day would involve a good play session with a kitty pal, napping in your lap for hours, then devouring a Churu or two. Because of my special needs, I need a special family - folks who can change my diapers several times a day, give me a bath at least once a week, and either take me for regular sanitary trims or learn how to do them at home. Fortunately, I make it easy! I don't mind diaper changes at all, and will nuzzle your hand while you change me. Bath time is not my favorite, but I take pills like a champ, so my foster mom just gives me gabapentin (a mild sedative) a few hours beforehand. I have so much love to give and joy to spread, and if you can tolerate the occasional stinky diaper, I will be the perfect addition to your family. I am great with other cats/kittens. I haven't been introduced to dogs or to small children yet. My adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED!
