SWEET, SHY & ADORABLE: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi there, I’m Zack! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with another dog friend, and I’m so happy to be safe and well cared for here. I’m still adjusting to my new surroundings and would love to find a kind, calm family who will treasure me. I’ve just moved into a foster home, so there will be more information about me coming soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was a little nervous - I think I may just need a nice slow type of introduction. I like the dog I came in with, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet if you have calm and gentle kids, as I can be a shy boy. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers report that I’m a shy, timid boy at first, but with a little time and patience, I warm up into a friendly and playful companion. I’m very sweet and love to cuddle right next to you once I feel comfortable. I did great for my bath - just a little unsure of the sprayer at first, but I quickly settled in and even enjoyed being brushed. I have beautiful fur and a gentle nature, and I’m still learning new things like crossing thresholds, improving a little more every day. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Once I know and am comfortable with you, I just love being with you including in your lap. I also really enjoyed being brushed after my shelter bath. I’m sure once I’m all settled in, we’ll discover lots of things we will like doing together. / Since I am shy, I wouldn’t want to live in a busy or loud home and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a sweet dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
