About Sage
Sage is an affectionate coonhound, thriving on outdoor adventures and time with her people. She’s spent her days in a yard with access to lots of outside time and looks for someone who’ll share that active lifestyle—hikes, walks, or backyard lounging all fit the bill. Sage gets along well with other dogs and has consistently been kind to her foster’s grandkids, never missing a beat as they’ve grown. While she’ll bark at cats, she hasn’t chased them. She’s never had formal leash training due to having a fenced yard, but with her eagerness and intelligence, she’s likely to pick it up fast for new outings. Sage is spayed and her vaccines are current. Her current owner can no longer care for her due to an upcoming surgery and hopes Sage can find a home where she’ll be both loved and included in family life. Fun fact—Sage is a Leo, which fits her warm and outgoing personality. Currently fostered in Marion, NC. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
