ophia is a beautiful girl who also came to us from Animal Control, and she has been nothing but a sweetheart since the day she arrived. With her gentle nature and kind eyes, Sophia has a quiet way of winning over everyone she meets. She has recently been diagnosed as heartworm positive and is scheduled to begin treatment soon. Despite this, Sophia remains incredibly loving, calm, and trusting. She takes everything in stride and just wants to be close to her people, soaking up all the affection she can get. Sophia would do wonderfully in a home that can provide her with a peaceful environment along with lots of love and reassurance. She’s the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with her family and be a loyal, comforting presence every day. She may have a little journey ahead of her, but Sophia’s future is so bright.
