About Kevin
Kevin is an 80-pound, brindle-coated dynamo with a splash of Texas sass and loads of personality. At two years old, he lives for playtime, water adventures, and being the life of any gathering. After making it out of a high-volume shelter, he's thriving in foster, dazzling everyone with his charm and social skills. He plays well with all kinds of dogs and soaks up attention from every human in sight. When playtime settles down, Kevin becomes a first-rate snuggler, grateful for every belly rub and cuddle you’ll give him. A master of fetch and happiest splashing into any available water, Kevin will be your go-to for hikes and outdoor fun. He’d love a home with a fenced yard for serious romping. While he gets along with other dogs, he’d rather dine solo—a bit of a diva at dinner, but who isn’t sometimes? He’s not compatible with cats, so a feline-free home is best. Kevin is housebroken, crate-trained, and motivated to please, but his curiosity and energy mean he does best with structure. He suits an active person or family (kids 10+) who want a fun, sometimes headstrong, water-loving companion. Kevin is currently in boarding in Maryland, with nationwide transport to approved adopters. Ready for a dog who leaps into every adventure and cuddles close at day’s end? Kevin is waiting for you.
