male/neutered - 1 year - 8lbs - owner surrender Jerry was surrendered to us because his family had a new baby who was allergic. They described him as a pretty normal kitty who loved toys and treats and catnip. They indicated that he was afraid of big dogs, strangers and going to the vet (sounds like many cats). Jerry was not happy to be here and was very scared and shut down. We sent him to a foster home and this is what foster dad has to say. (full disclosure, foster dad is a 6'5" police officer so has a definite presence) "Jerry hid from us for the first three days but has been very friendly since. He definitely loves cuddling with my wife but hasn't warmed up to me quite as much. His favorite game is to knock my daughter's hair ties around the house. In general, he is laid back and likes to be around people. " Jerry will be re-joining us here at the animal services center soon so please stay tuned.
