But then she went to foster, and with patience, love, and a safe place to decompress, Merry blossomed. Her foster mom got to see the real Merry: affectionate, happy, playful, and deeply connected to the people she trusts. Now Merry is back at the shelter, and like many sensitive cats, she’s struggling again. She spends most of her time withdrawn and hiding, which means adopters walking by may never get to see who she truly is. But this video? This is the REAL Merry. When her foster mom came back to visit, Merry lit up with recognition and joy.
