About Thomas

Thomas came from a breeder in Wisconsin and has been adjusting to home life in foster care. Though he arrived timid and unsure, he’s started to find his confidence and sweet personality. Thomas weighs about 14 pounds and is a small Shih Tzu. His coat is growing back soft and cute since being trimmed, and he has appealing coloring. He does well on walks, is great with his leash, and is reliably potty trained—he’ll go as soon as you take him outside. At night, he sleeps quietly in his crate. Thomas eats well and likes taking treats from people. He gets along nicely with other dogs and will need another dog in his future home. While still shy, he's steadily gaining trust and enjoys being around people, even sitting close while you work or relaxing on the couch nearby. Snuggling is something he’s learning, and with patience, he’ll only get more comfortable. His playful side emerges with zoomies and toys, and he’s mastering the steps up to the couch. Thomas is best for someone willing to go slow as he grows braver and more affectionate. Fluffy Dog Rescue fosters Thomas in Sauk City. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
