Eristotle A183784 48 lb. neutered male, approx 2 years old -This sweet, gentle boy is timid and unsure. He will need someone to go at his pace and be patient! -Inside he cautiously explored everything -The poor guy flinches and ducks occasionally with movements around his head 😞 -Once he was comfortable and trusted me, he wanted to be sitting right next to me. If I stopped petting him he would scoot in a little closer. I laid on the floor and he came and laid next to me. -He enjoys pets but never fully relaxed. He is already getting much better with time though! -He likes treats, sits and takes them very gently. He doesn't seem super food motivated though. -He is curious of toys but isn't quite sure what to do with them yet it seems -As more time went on he even gave a few kisses -He walks slow and steady on a leash and won't pull you all over the place -Good boy who just deserves a little bit of time and patience! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
