Meet the dapper and delightful Ozzy! This easy going gentleman in true Beagle form loves to sniff and explore the world. He is a big cuddle bug and loves nothing more than to curl up next to you for a good nap after a active play session. He loves to play with squeaky toys and balls and enjoys a good romp around the yard. Ozzy has lived with children as young as infants and done very well with them. He has lived with other small dogs that he has done well with, but mostly prefers to keep to himself when around new dogs. He has never lived with cats. Ozzy is mostly house trained, but will need a consistent schedule and routine to get him on track in his new home. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
