Meet Pearl Pearl is a darling 6-year-old Yorkie who is learning what life as a beloved pet is all about after being released from a breeder. She came into rescue with her friend Minnie, and together they were given their sweet, matching names-Minnie-Pearl Pearl may be a bit shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a sweet little girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. Once she warms up, she enjoys nothing more than snuggling close on your lap and soaking up affection. She has been very quiet and easygoing in her foster home and gets along beautifully with other dogs. In fact, Pearl would do best in a home with another dog to help guide her and build her confidence. Pearl is working on potty training and is doing well with potty pads, and she will also go outside when taken out regularly. She's not leash trained yet, so she'll need a securely fenced yard while she learns the ropes. With a little patience and a lot of love, Pearl will make a wonderfully loyal and gentle companion.
