About Hazel
Hazel had a rough start but has truly blossomed into a gentle soul. At around 50 lbs and two years old, she’s spayed, microchipped, housebroken, and crate trained. Hazel is calm and well-mannered in the home, sleeping quietly through the night and happy to relax by your side. She’s medium-energy—she enjoys her walks and some backyard play, but is just as content settling down with her people for TV time. Hazel is food-motivated and knows basic commands like sit, wait, and "get in." She’s leash-trained and picks up routines quickly. Though she starts out a bit shy with strangers, once she warms up, she’s affectionate and loyal. Hazel gets along well with dogs and children, but she’s not a fit for homes with cats. She’d love a fenced yard for her zoomies but does fine with daily walks and regular activity if that’s not possible. Patient adopters who allow her to move at her own pace will see Hazel thrive as a loving companion. She’s waiting for a safe place to call her forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
