Bella Swan is a sweet and gentle companion who has lived with young children and with cats. She is house trained, crate trained, and obedience trained. She enjoys neighborhood walks, does not pull on the leash, and ignores other dogs. She enjoys being brushed and petted and is very tolerant of veterinary visits. She is polite around the gardener and the pool cleaner in her foster home. She gives the softest kisses on your toes and your hands - and likes being kissed on the top of her head and scratched behind her ears. She knows obedience such as sit, down, wait, stay, shake, go to bed, come when called - and when recently praised for her obedience, she was so happy she did zoomies around the pool! Her favorite toys are a kong and a nyla bone, and she loves to fetch a tennis ball - and she enjoys chewing on ice cubes. Bella Swan can be left home alone for several hours, she will wait for you indoors on her dog bed, or indoors in an extra large dog crate for a few hours, or in the backyard. While in her foster home, Bella Swan took direction from the 6 pound pet cat. Bella Swan has calmly accepted the cat's house rules and now she peacefully shares the home and the attention of the foster family with the cat. During her stay with Placer SPCA, Bella Swan has been on numerous field trips, including to Fountains shopping center, Tractor Supply, coffee shops, city parks, and to the Subaru dealership. She rides on the floor of the back seat of a car. She is a big gal, so move the passenger front seat up to make room for Bella Swan in the back. Bella Swan will make every adventure more fun.
