About Milton
Meet 10-year-old, 6-7lb Milton! This sweet senior Yorkshire Terrier came to the rescue from Irondequoit Animal Control and has quickly become a favorite. Milton is house trained, loves relaxing walks, and lives for cuddling up right next to his people. He has a calm, gentle way about him that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Milton gets along with other dogs but really seems to prefer being the only pet so he can have all your love to himself. He can be a little wary of new people at first—he definitely has a bit of "stranger danger"—but once you pick him up, he melts into you and settles right down. Everything feels safer to him when he’s in someone’s arms. Right now, Milton is available as a foster-to-adopt while he awaits his neuter and dental procedure, and after that, he’ll be ready to officially join a new family. If you want a small, devoted companion with a ton of love left to give, Milton could be your guy. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
