Scrappy
AvailableScrappy is a young, golden mixed-breed pit bull terrier living in Rochester, NY. He has a short coat and is house trained. Scrappy is up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered before adoption.
About Scrappy
Scrappy was picked up after being spotted on his own at a local park, but he’s making a smooth transition to foster life. He greets familiar faces with enthusiasm, yet most of the time, he’s got a mellow, steady personality. Once he’s comfortable, Scrappy is all about lap time and quiet cuddles. He starts off a touch shy, but a kind word and a treat help him come around fast. There’s a cat in his foster home that he mostly ignores, and the same goes for small animals he passes on walks. Scrappy hasn’t been around kids or other dogs yet, so those introductions are still untested. He’s crate-trained and getting the hang of not pulling on the leash. He prefers sticking close to home during walks for now, which could shift as he settles further into his new routine. Scrappy’s vaccinations are up to date, and he’ll be neutered before going home. He’ll do best as an indoor dog. Scrappy is based in Rochester, NY, but can travel if it’s the right fit. Ready to make a gentle, loyal companion part of your life?
