Meet Max, a 1-year-old tan and white pup weighing in at about 12 pounds, with a sweet nature and a heart that just needs a little time to shine! Max can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but if you give him space and let him come to you, he starts to relax and show you what an awesome pup he is! He especially enjoys being the center of your attention and will oh so politely do a little hoppy dance if you dare neglect to give him his well-deserved head scratches! When meeting other dogs at the shelter, Max showed both curiosity and a bit of uncertainty, so slow, positive introductions will help him feel more confident. Max is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let him go at his own pace. Once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal little companion by your side! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested?
