Nala is a timid, shy 12.6lb little girl who is still learning that the world can be safe. In the short time we’ve had her, she hasn’t fully opened up yet — but we see glimpses of her sweet personality every day. She shows some signs of early dementia, so she’ll need a patient, understanding home that can give her consistency and grace. One thing she does love? Walks. Nala enjoys getting out, exploring at her own pace, and soaking up the sunshine. Sitting in a warm patch of sun is one of her favorite ways to spend the day. She gets along well with other dogs. Sometimes she can be a little nosey and forget personal space, but she handles correction well and responds appropriately. She is crate trained and does best with structure. Nala would do best in a home with older children who can respect her boundaries and give her the gentle space she needs. With patience and kindness, she has so much quiet love to give.
