We'd love to introduce you to Leroy! He got the curliest, wavy coat and is a total extrovert. We'd love to see Leroy with an adopter who loves to be active and energetic like he is! Daily walkies would be awesome for Leroy! He weighs 43 pounds, is a little younger than two years old and is neutered. He'd be up to go for car rides any time of the day! We could see Leroy fitting in wonderfully into a family who has a social lifestyle! He gets so excited when meeting new faces; both adults and kiddos about 7 years and older. He gets really excited about seeing new faces but since he's such a good boy, he does calm down quickly. Leroy has shown positive body language around other shelter dogs. He may prefer the company of female dog friends but we need to observe a few more interactions. Leroy has lived with dog-savvy kitty friends and may do well with a proper introduction. Leroy does quite well when being left alone and has been crated before. He doesn't tear things up but if he sees a little scrap of food laying around, he is known to try to nibble it! He's such an intelligent guy! Leroy knows how to sit and shake and does amazing with being house-trained. He loves stuffed animals and likes to de-stuff them so we encourage adopters to get stronger, less destructible toys. In the home, Leroy is a cuddlebug. He just wants to be wherever you are. He's like a little shadow floating around! If someone were to rob the house he'd definitely go with the robber-he doesn't know a stranger! We're teaching Leroy to not jump; he's learning but he just gets so happy! We know he is very smart so are sure he'd be able to learn anything you're willing to put time into teaching him.
