About Maisy
Start your journey together! Apply now. Maisy is a 5-year-old Mastiff mix who truly embodies resilience and warmth. Once a stray in Sumpter and severely underweight, Maisy has flourished in foster care, thriving on good nutrition and plenty of love. She’s grown into a joyful and affectionate companion who adores being near her people and is eager to share her heart with her forever family. Living in a foster home, Maisy has learned how wonderful it is to be a cherished house pet. She is fully potty trained, has great indoor manners, and is currently getting along well with her feline foster sibling. No longer shy, Maisy greets friends with enthusiastic wiggles, soaks up attention, and enjoys the little pleasures in life—especially stuffy toys, tasty treats, and mellow hangouts. Maisy prefers a calm lifestyle, loving yard exploration and gentle indoor relaxation at her own pace. She has blossomed socially and gained confidence, and with continued encouragement, she’s sure to further reveal her sweet, playful side. With other dogs, Maisy can be selective, but she has demonstrated she can be a good sibling to calm dogs with gradual introductions and does well in peaceful group settings. Her history of cohabiting with cats shows she can be part of a multi-pet household. Maisy’s ideal home will be moderately active and patient, possibly with older children who can offer her the steady support she deserves. She is ready to thrive with a family willing to provide reassurance, stability, and kindness. Born on April 15, Maisy is an Aries—full of determination and courage! Ready to fall in love?
