He’s a 5 months old lab mix around 35 pounds. He hasn’t been around long but the world hasn’t been very kind to him so far. He was found dumped, with very minimal human interaction after being rescued. Because of that, he’s understandably shy and unsure in new situations. But behind those timid eyes is a gentle, sensitive soul who wants to trust. Lucien is the kind of puppy who just needs a little patience, a little love, and someone willing to show him that people can be safe. He may not be the bold, outgoing puppy right away but with time, consistency, and kindness, he has so much potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal companion. Watching him come out of his shell will be the most rewarding journey. In just a few days he’s made great strides and is becoming more playful and learning to enjoy lots of cuddles.
