About Max
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Max is a goofy, loveable dog looking for a committed owner, friend, and companion. After being returned from his previous adopters in June, he’s been working on learning to trust people in the comfort of his foster home, but now he’s ready to find his forever family. The ideal home for Max will provide daily walks to help him focus, bond, and adjust to his new surroundings, a crate in a peaceful spot for restful sleep, and enriching toys or games so he can safely satisfy his strong urge to chew. Slow introductions to new people and dogs are important, so Max can feel safe and not overwhelmed. Although Max is friendly with children, a home without kids will likely suit him best, since he’s most comfortable in predictable environments. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and does wonderfully in boarding or at doggy day care. Since he’s playful and social, Max could make the perfect companion for another friendly dog. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving "velcro dog" who will shower you with affection in exchange for the patience and commitment he deserves, Max may just be your perfect match. As a fun fact, Max was born on February 14, making him an affectionate and charismatic Aquarius! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
