About Ernie
🐾 Meet Ernie- International Churu Enthusiast! 🐾 Ernie is a 5 month old playful, energetic and gentle bundle of fluff who enjoys catnip, bird watching, and playing with fun toys! Before arriving to Ten Lives, he traveled internationally to sample Churus from around the country. OK, maybe we're not sure if thats true but we do know he loves snacking on churus any chance he gets! Ernie is looking for a home without another cat friend to zoom with and show him the ropes of being an indoor kitty. He adores his fluffy panther brother Bert and thinks it would be the cat's meow to go home together. His philosophy is simple- cat's are like potato chips (or, ahem, churus), you can't have just one! Give him that extra boost of time and reassurance as he adjusts and before you know its he's cozying up for snuggles with you. Ernie is excited for his next adventure, and hopes it is with you! ______________________________ Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/ Please Note: If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
