About Rocky
Meet Rocky! At eight years old, Rocky is a gentle giant with a loving nature. When his owner passed away, he found himself outside and has weathered a lot—he’s massive, but his temperament is soft and affectionate. Rocky craves attention, enjoys being petted, and doesn’t mind being held. He’s remarkably relaxed during veterinary visits and prefers spending the day lounging in his cozy bed or tucked away in his favorite corner of the cat tree. There’s just something endearing and hammy about him. Rocky is FIV+ from his time outdoors, but it hasn't slowed him down. FIV simply means his immune system is a bit lower than other cats, but it isn’t a death sentence—FIV+ cats can live full, happy lives. The virus is only transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds, not through grooming or sharing bowls. For his happiness and health, Rocky needs to be the only cat. He prefers soaking up all the human affection for himself. Rocky is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He’s ready for a quiet, loving, cat-only home where he can relax and share his warmth.
