About Birdie

🕊 Meet Birdie! 🕊 Swooping in to bring nothing but happiness, Birdie is ready to spend forever with you! Just 7 months old, Birdie is quietly learning how to be an indoor kitty. She enjoys her nightly routines of gently being told how much of a good girl she is, enjoying a churu and leaning in for pets and purring. Her person will need to understand the pets and purrs may take a little longer, but once she trusts you its a feeling that warms your heart. Birdie is looking for a quiet home with a cat savvy adopter whom she can bond with and continue her journey of building her confidence. Her hobbies include bird watching, recharging in the sunbeams, and cat friends. Another kitty in the home to help show her the ropes would be the cat's meow for our Birdie. If you you're ready to commit to Birdie, Birdie is (almost) ready to commit to you. Birdie is now accepting adoption applications, available below. ___________________________ Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/ Please Note: If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
