He also requires eye lubricant to keep the eye moist. This cost is like $15 and lasts a long time. One eye is making enough tears with the stimulant, the left eye remains poor but did improve. The left eye will eventually need a surgery like an eye lid lift to pull the lashes back. They curl into his eye and basically scratch them.
