We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. __ Jamie Foxx is an 11-month-old, neutered, 50 lb male Pitbull mix (DOB 5/23/25) who is confidently stepping into his “big puppy” era. With his striking coat, warm eyes, and constantly wagging tail, Jamie is as handsome as he is sweet — and yes, he rocks a pair of sunglasses like an absolute pro. Jamie can transport out of state (arranged by the rescue) after an approved application, virtual home visit, and reference checks. He is currently being fostered in Austin, TX. Jamie is well past the tiny puppy stage and entering that wonderful adolescent phase where his personality is really starting to shine. He’s playful and goofy but also learning how to settle and enjoy downtime. He loves romping in the yard, playing with other dogs, and engaging with toys — but he’s just as happy leaning into his humans for affection. He knows “sit,” walks nicely on a leash, and is both potty and crate trained. Jamie is smart, eager to please, and responds well to guidance and positive reinforcement. Jamie can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, especially men or boys, and tends to gravitate more naturally toward women. With a bit of time, patience, and trust, he warms up beautifully and shows his true, affectionate nature. Once he bonds, he can be a bit of a velcro dog with his person — loyal, loving, and always close by. He would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to continue building his confidence and helping him navigate new experiences. He hasn’t met cats yet. As an older puppy, Jamie is at the perfect age to continue shaping into an incredible companion. With consistency, structure, and love, he’s going to grow into a truly special dog.
