About Chalupa
Chalupa was picked up as a stray and landed safely at Frosted Faces in April. Now about 10 years old and weighing around 10 pounds, he's shown himself to be a gentle, easygoing Maltese with a big heart. Chalupa treats every person he knows like a long-lost friendโhis whole body wags when he recognizes you. He's perfectly content lounging in a cozy bed (preferably heated) and seems to make sleeping a full-time job. In his foster home, Chalupa takes things in stride: he strolls calmly on a leash, rides quietly in a stroller, and naps just about anywhere, following his people around the house with quiet loyalty. He's hard of hearing but communicates what he needs by trotting to the door when it's potty time. Barking isn't his styleโin fact, he's the kind of dog whose presence you feel more than you hear. Chalupa gets along well with dogs and cats by simply coexisting gently and quietly. Due to having lost all his teeth, he does require a soft food diet. He loves dozing off on a warm lap, but he won't give up his beloved heated bed easily. Chalupa is ready for a peaceful home where he can keep living the quiet, good life heโs earned.
