Meet Raya! Raya is a friendly dog, with an adorable trot and personality. Raya warms up fast and loves attention, but like all dogs may appreciate a slow approach while she sniffs you out. Once Raya is comfortable, she can be excitable and a little jumpy, but she means well! She already knows "sit," and has overall been easy to interact with in our care. Raya may be a bit dog selective, so it is required that any potential doggy siblings be brought in to meet her to ensure compatibility! Raya will also need to go to a home with no children under 13 due to a history of guarding toys and treats. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff. Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
