About Joanie
Joanie is a striking black-and-white Husky with piercing icy blue eyes that shine against her medium-length coat. She came to the rescue with Fonzie, both survivors of severe neglect who were removed from heartbreaking conditions. Despite all she has endured, Joanie’s spirit hasn’t dimmed—she has shown remarkable sweetness and patience during her time at the shelter, even with the chaos that sometimes surrounds her. Like many Huskies, Joanie can appear reactive with other dogs in busy environments, but outside in the yard, her true nature rises to the surface. She visibly relaxes, takes in her surroundings, and starts to feel at ease once more. Joanie is believed to be young, likely around two to three years old, and she is eager for a fresh start and a family willing to give her the safety and love she missed out on. She isn’t house trained yet and hasn’t been spayed, but she is up-to-date on her vaccinations. Morning hellos from Joanie and her blue eyes will quickly become a cherished part of your day. She’s waiting for someone to help her leave her old life behind and finally blossom into the joyful Husky she was always meant to be. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
