About Reese
Reese is a young dog who’s already seen more than his share of rough days. Picked up from the streets in Harris County, TX, Reese joined the ranks of countless shelter dogs before making his way up north. At just around a year old, he’s eager to settle into real family life again. You can tell he’s known kindness before—he’s trusting, open, and eager for connection. Reese comes in at about 59 pounds and carries both Alaskan Husky energy and the quiet loyalty of a shepherd’s heart. He’s smart, treat-motivated, and walks well on leash—no dragging, just attentive company at your side. He already knows 'sit', and what he craves most is simple affection. Reese gets along well with people and other dogs, and his one goofy tell is hopping up gently for extra pets. If you have an active lifestyle, Reese would fit right in, but he’d settle anywhere love and daily walks are routine. Vaccinations are current and he’s neutered. Reese did test positive for heartworm but has already begun a slow-kill treatment and is doing well. His adoption fee covers transport to anywhere in the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast. Reese is ready for a stable home where he won’t just be another face in the crowd—he’s looking for the kind of family that gives as much as he does.
