About Watson
Watson is looking for someone ready to teach him how to be a dog and let him finally relax in a real home. At just over a year old, he ended up at the shelter after being found terrified and skinny, still dragging a broken chain. Heās bounced back wellāneutered, microchipped, and caught up on vaccinesāall while holding onto a streak of optimism. Watson has never given up on people. Heās affectionate, sees strangers as friends, and just wants a chance to figure out this whole 'good boy' thing with someone patient by his side. Expect classic young dog energy: he chews, barks, and is still learning house training, but food motivates him and he genuinely wants to please. His ideal setup is a home with a fenced yardācouches for cuddling, car rides to remind him life can be fun, and someone committed to helping him learn all the basics. Because Watson is still rambunctious and figuring out boundaries, he isnāt suited for homes with small children or cats. How he feels about other dogs is still a question mark. Heād love to show you his signature head tilt or learn his name by your side instead of from a kennel. Watson is just over a year old (heās a practical Capricorn, in case you track that sort of thing), about 35 lbs, and waiting in Cincinnati, OH for that break he deserves. The adoption fee is $100, adopters must be 21+, and you need to live within 50 miles of the shelter. Ready to make Watson's new chapter a happy one? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
